Herd is excited to announce that they will be running their second job fair of the year: Leeds Digital Job Fair 2.0.
Held on the 20th of October at First Direct Arena, the Leeds Digital Job Fair will be welcoming back some of the biggest business names in the city. As part of Leeds Business Week, the fair will bring together talent across the digital spectrum to one place where they can find opportunities in the tech centre of the North.
Founder Amy De-Balsi is incredibly passionate about connecting all things digital in the North and believes that Leeds should be concentrating on tech skills and keeping homegrown talent. “Leeds has some fantastic digital talent but we are losing them to the South. Our city has seen rapid growth in the tech sector, but now we need to let graduates know that you can carve a fantastic career here in Leeds, with some of the biggest brands in the world”.
With over 1300 attendees at the first job fair, the Herd team are expecting to smash their last record with increased visibility. Head of Digital Marketing at Herd; Becky Boyd says; “We had such amazing, positive feedback online from the last job fair, with people travelling across country to attend. This time, we are going bigger than before with a fun, festival vibe. This won’t be your average job fair.”
